Visita is a shared resource. Like a park or a library, it works best when everyone respects the space and the people in it. These terms are our agreement on how to maintain that space.
Our Promise
We will provide accurate, neutral data. We will protect your privacy (as per our Policy). We will keep the lights on.
Your Duty
You will report truthfully. You will treat others (even politicians) with basic human dignity. You will not spam.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing Visita, you agree to these terms. If you act in bad faith—spamming fake potholes, harassing neighbors, or trying to break our code—we reserve the right to ban you. This is a neighborhood watch, not a free-for-all.
2. The Integrity of Data
Our value comes from truth.
- Do not lie. Don't report a broken light if it's working.
- Do not duplicate. Check if a signal exists before reporting it again. "Me Too" it instead.
- Do not mislead. Business owners must accurately represent their services.
3. Zero Tolerance for Hate
Politics is heated. Governance is frustrating. But Visita is a platform for action, not abuse. We have zero tolerance for:
- Hate speech or discrimination.
- Doxing (revealing private info of others).
- Threats of violence.
Violations will result in an immediate, permanent ban.
4. Liability & Disclaimers
We aggregating public data. We are not the municipality.
- We cannot guarantee a pothole will be fixed just because you reported it.
- We cannot guarantee the weather forecast is 100% accurate.
- We supply the intelligence; YOU (and your officials) supply the action.
5. Termination
We may suspend your access if you violate these terms. If you wish to leave, you can delete your account at any time from the Settings dashboard.
By using Visita, you become a custodian of your ward's digital twin. Act accordingly.
